How it works

  1. 1

    Install on your computer

Download the installer for macOS or Windows and run it. It connects your computer to your CodeHark account.

  2. 2

Connect your ChatGPT or Claude account

Sign in with the account you already pay for, or add an API key. The AI runs under your own plan.

  3. 3

    Chat from any device

Open CodeHark on your phone or in any browser, pick a machine and a folder, and give the AI a task.

Built for working with AI coders

  • Runs on your machine

Commands run and files live on your own computer. You keep your tools, your environment and your code.

  • Codex and Claude Code

Use OpenAI Codex or Claude Code in the same app, with your own subscription or API key.

  • Phone friendly

An installable web app that notifies you when a task finishes. Start a task, put the phone away, check the result later.

  • Desktop and browser control

Let the AI use your desktop and a browser when a task needs it, with a confirmation for every step you choose to approve.

  • Several machines

Connect your laptop, a desktop and a server, and choose where each chat runs.

  • Open sign-up

Anyone can request an account. An administrator approves it, so the service stays small and safe.

Questions

Is it free?
CodeHark itself is free to use while it is in open sign-up. The AI models are not included: you use your own ChatGPT or Claude subscription or API key, and the costs of those stay with your provider.
Where does my code live?
On your own computer. Files and commands stay on the machine you connect. What you send to the AI goes to your model provider, and the chat history is stored on our server so you can read it from any device.
Which accounts do I need?
A CodeHark account, plus either a ChatGPT account (for Codex), a Claude account (for Claude Code), or an API key from a supported provider. Each person must use their own accounts.
Is it safe? The AI runs commands on my computer.
It is powerful, so treat it like giving a colleague access: it can read and change files and run commands in the folders you let it use. Keep important work under version control, use a dedicated folder, and check what it does. Desktop and browser control ask you to confirm each step.
Which operating systems are supported?
Machines: macOS, Windows, and Linux servers. The chat app works in any modern browser on any device, including phones and tablets.
How do I uninstall?
Settings, My machines, Uninstall shows the exact steps for your system. You can also delete your whole account and all its data from Settings, Account.
Do you track me or show ads?
No ads and no analytics or tracking scripts. This page loads nothing from other websites. See the Privacy Policy for what the service stores.
