Terms of Service

The service
CodeHark lets you chat with AI coding tools that run on machines you connect, and lets you use the service from any browser. It is provided by CodeHark () (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using CodeHark you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.
Your account
New accounts may need approval by an administrator, and we may decline a request. You must give a real email address you control, keep your password safe, and are responsible for everything done through your account. One person per account.
Your model accounts
CodeHark does not include AI models. You connect your own ChatGPT or Claude account or your own API key, and each person must use their own accounts. You are responsible for following the terms and usage policies of those providers, including any rules about automation, sharing and subscription limits. Do not share, resell or pool accounts through CodeHark. Costs and limits of your model accounts are between you and your provider.
Shared models or machines, where an administrator enables them for you, are provided at our discretion, may be limited by a daily quota and may be withdrawn at any time.
The AI acts on your machine, at your risk
The AI tools can read and change files, run commands, install software and, when you allow it, control your desktop and browser on the machines you connect. They can make mistakes. You decide which machines, folders and capabilities to give them. Keep backups and version control, review what they do, and do not give them access to data or systems you cannot afford to lose. You are responsible for the results and for any use of the output.
Acceptable use
Do not use CodeHark to break the law, to attack or probe other systems without permission, to create or spread malware, to infringe others’ rights, to abuse or overload the service, to try to access other users’ data, or to bypass limits we set.
Suspension and ending
We may limit, suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if your use puts the service or others at risk, or if we have to stop the service. You can stop at any time and delete your account in Settings.
No warranty and limit of liability
CodeHark is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that the AI output will be correct or safe. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost profits or indirect damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the previous 12 months (which may be zero).
